My husband and I were so interested in registering for the Special LOGOS Seminar: Praying the Psalms. We would have jumped right in with our registration but will be traveling. Will you be posting any part of the classes in the future? We are loving Logos online! Praying for you as you teach us all! God Bless You!- Nelene

Praying the Psalms

Nelene--Thank you for the kind words and for your interest in--and support of--LBS.  I was amazed at the response to our seminar:  it filled within a few hours of being announced!

I don't plan to record the sessions, though, since I'll be using a lot of visual aids (Power Point, Psalms projected on a big screen, etc.) and during the afternoon session there will be a small-group workshop with a lot of discussion and interaction.  The format doesn't really lend itself to recording.

In any case, I'll be doing a lot more programs in our Logos classroom.  After Easter I'd like to offer a 10-week, Thursday evening class titled, "The Birth of the Gospel," a sort of "graduate school" seminar on how the Gospel came to be.  We think of the Gospel within the framework of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, but for the first 30-40 years after Jesus' death, burial and resurrection, the Gospel was purely oral.  How did it take shape?  How was it transmitted?  How did it ultimately move into written form? Interesting questions, all.  And we'll explore them in the 10-week session.

Perhaps you could join us then?
